I saw the movie with some friends who are huge Trekkies. I had to talk them out of wearing their uniforms even... I had never even seen a single episode or Star Trek movie (the most I had seen was the Futurama episode that semi goes into the show when they're stuck on the planet with Melvar), but I enjoyed it. By the way, if anyone knows that black chicks first name, let me know. I still have no idea. Also, Simon Pegg and the dude from Herold and Kumar, just threw me off. Didn't fit to me.

In my mind, anyone who goes to a Star Trek movie, regardless of attire, has no right to call someone else going to it a geek or a nerd, regardless of attire/etc... If they are able to speak Klingon... that's starting to be a different story.

That's not hypocritical at all. If he had made fun of someone just for going to see the Star Trek movie, and then his phone went off with that ringtone, that would be one thing, but he just made fun of a guy who took it way too far and dressed up as a character.

Star Trek was an amazing movie. And I am so not into that sort of thing. If that makes me a nerd, I don't care. It was an awesome movie. Lol. @27 Spock and Captain Kirk were sexy in that movie. I really don't think that this is that bad. But seriously, don't call someone a Geek when you are one yourself.
