Today, I was in a meeting when my phone suddenly rang. I'd forgotten to silence it, but it wasn’t just any ringtone, it was "I'm Blue" by Eiffel 65. It played for 30 seconds while everyone stared at me rushing to retrieve it from my bag on the other side of the room and turn it off. The worst part? That fucking song is still stuck in my head, and it's been hours. FML

YDI. You really should have turned your phone off or on silent. Is it just me, or do adults tend to have their ringers on more, and teenagers tend to have their phone on vibrate? Nice ringtone though.

D' aww!! that's not bad at all :C But you should have turned off your phone :] then again anyone can make a mistake like that...especially if they're nervous.

It's possible that the op's phone turned itself on. My old cell phone did that all the time,,,

Or here's one better: Don't even have the phone ON you at an interview. You're not gonna use it for the 30 something minutes you'll be there, so don't have it at all.

#8 We have school, and at least for me, it gets taken away if it goes off. Many jobs having your phone ring isn't a big deal...
