Today, I was in the bus on my way home. I was reading a book, and drops of something were getting all over it. It was the man sitting next to me who was asleep and drooling. FML

Today, on the bus, water kept dripping on my head so I stood up to move. As I got up, the bus turned round a corner and I fell over into a man's lap. When I tried to get up, I slipped down between his legs and the next seat. FML

Today, I fell asleep on the bus taking me home after a long hard day at work. I woke up with my head on a stranger’s shoulder, drooling. The worst part? The stranger was my crush from college, who I haven’t seen in years. Turns out we have the same bus route. FML

Today, while on the bus, an elderly man fell asleep on my shoulder. He looked sweet, so I didn't push him off. A few minutes later, the bus jolted and his head slipped down into my breasts. I'm pretty sure you don't smile like that when you're really asleep. FML

Today, I took the bus to work. I was exhausted and had a big mug of coffee. Half asleep and thinking I was in my car, I reached forward to put it in the "cup holder" during the ride. When I let go, I poured hot coffee not only all over myself, but also on the large, angry-looking man next to me. FML

Today, I fell asleep on the bus and when I woke up, I found out that I missed my stop by ten stops and I was on the last bus of the night. And, to make matters worse, a drunk hobo was sitting next to me with a beer in one hand and was rubbing my leg with the other. FML

Why is that all but one FML I have read having to do with someone being drooled on or being the person drooling on themselves while on public transportation always involve the woman being the one drooling or the one being drooled on?

Because when one person is drooling on another, one of them is drooling, and one of them is being drooled on, so if a woman is involved, obviously she will be one of those two. Did you just seriously try to turn this into some sexism thing?

I tried to moderate this one out but it surpassed my claws. this story is illogical. unless the op was holding the book right under the persons mouth (try to imagine positions on the bus where that could be possible and you'll see there aren't many that a person would want to sit in) this wouldn't work.
