Today, I was in the shower 'grooming' myself for my second anniversary with my boyfriend. Halfway through the hot water ran out. I now have the choice of going with the low 'half-fro' or risking hypothermia. My boyfriend thinks hypothermia would be the better option. FML

Today, due to plumbing issues, I had to choose between a goosebump-inducing cold or skin-blistering hot shower. This is the 7th day in a row. My husband says it shouldn't be more than another week before he "gets it figured out". FML

Today, I flushed the toilet while my boyfriend was showering. He responded by throwing a huge fit, saying how if he “gets a cold” from being “forced” to shower in cold water, I’m gonna “have to stay home and take care of him until he’s better.” FML

Today, I turned the shower on the hottest setting so it would warm up quickly. I started to sing and dance around the bathroom. I got too carried away and pelvic thrusted the water, which I hadn't turned back down. FML

Today, I had a planned 12-hour power cut for maintenance work, which I'd forgot all about. In need of a shower before work, I spent 45 minutes boiling pots of water on the stove to take a lukewarm, 6-inch deep bath, before realizing my water heater runs on natural gas and was working fine. FML

Today, I went down to my accommodation office in fiery wrath, demanding that something be done about my three-days-cold shower. Looking dubious, they sent someone back with me. As soon as we got there he looked at me with deep pity and pulled the cord in the corner that activated the hot water. FML

oh my god, suck it up! There's no way you'll get hypothermia from a cold shower! it's probably around the same temperature as a pool, maybe a few degrees lower. Chill out! (Pun intended)

wow. my shower heat lasts ten minutes and yet I still manage to always shave everything. I'd sooner use the sink and a cloth before I'd let my hair A. get to Afro status and B. be half shaven.

I always shave in cold water, better results :) OP- either your hot water runs out REALLY quickly, or you take for bloody EVER in the shower. And I'm fairly certain it's not possible to get hypothermia from a few minutes in cold tap water; it's not cold enough, and you wouldn't be in it long enough. So either way, you completely deserve it. Stop being so whiny and overly dramatic.
