No bike? Taxi!?
Maybe they just said their cars were full.
This was a blessing in disguise! You were saved from being in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong people -- and with no way home. Patience is a virtue. Now, with your head held high, take the high road. Carry on being a nice, authentic person until you find friends worthy of your company. Go to their parties. If you can't take the high road, throw your own party, Carrie-style, for everybody at the party you 'missed' and for everybody who drove there. I personally suggest the high road. Good Luck!
Is that you, Forever Lonely?
Dude who says you need to be able to drive to party? Started age 13.
Just wait until you can drive/have a car...that will make it easier...
Just know you'd probably be surprised at how many people are or have been in your position. FYL, but keep your head up high.

Maybe you could have taken the bus?
That sucks. You should totally invite people over to your house if you ever have the oppurtunity; don't be afraid to take matters into your own hands if you want to be more social. You'll end up making more connections, and that way you'll be invited out more.
