Today, I was looking at some cellphones with my dad, when an assistant asked if we needed help. My dad said, "Yeah, does this have parental controls? My son watches some freaky stuff, some damn freaky stuff." I don't watch anything weird, but thanks for humiliating me, dad. FML

He's probably just covering up his own actions in hope you won't follow in his lead

Dads - the asshats of the adult world. I guess we still love them... Sometimes.

That's pretty awkward, parents can be a real drag at times.

troll dad. frame him watching something 'freaky'.

Yeah, watch some French **** before your finals, and after your finals are over you can blame your dad for hogging the computer! Then they'll check your computer, and see French ****. Then you can watch as your family falls apart.

Some people just want to watch the world burn.

36, it's not 5's retina pouring out, it's "just jelly stuck onto an eyeball."

yea... I guess y'all are right. sorry didn't think bout that before

Hey now; cat videos get a little odd now and then.

Cue Ellen, she'll tell you all about it

No wonder OP wants to remain "anonymous"

Why does it matter what a store assistant thinks? Besides you should just play along like say "yeah you don't even wanna know the stuff that he hasn't caught me watching yet". Honestly I once brought my laptop into Best Buy with my mom. When the guy went to insert a disc into it, he found I left a disc in. It was one of the seasons of Drawn Together (a wildly inappropriate comedy show more vulgar than South Park). Sure enough the image on the disc was of Princess Clara (one of the characters) in stripper garb, nipple tassels and everything... But that's the type of humor I liked so I just went along with it, and now it's a funny story. Things are only as awkward as you make them. Edit: Found the disc on google images. NSFW obviously (unless your work entails cartoon strippers) http://covers.box3.net/newsimg/dvdmov/max1219814410-potlaccd-cover.jpg

Thank you for reminding me of Drawn Together. I'd totally forgotten about that show.

ydi for watching really really freaky stuff!

He said he doesn't watch anything weird, and who cares even if he did?

11, don't knock it until you try it. ;)

His definition of freaky and his father's might be very different. For example op might think watching mlp themed hentai is perfectly normal, while his father considers it beyond the pale.
