Today, I was on the London underground reading a newspaper. A huge guy was sitting next to me and there weren't many other people around. As I turned a page, he leaned into me, glaring, and said, "I'm not finished yet". At the next stop I put down the paper and jumped off. It wasn't even my stop. FML

Poor guy didn't even get to finish reading.

Leaving before your stop is kind of overdramatic. Couldn't you just have given him the newspaper or something?

That's pretty sad. That was your paper. I would have told him that he could finish reading what ever he was reading when I got done reading MY paper.

punch for a paper. .lol... that must have been a scary situation...

That's why I carry a weapon. I can just run my fingers over it and say, "You WILL be in a second."

that's creepy. I'd freak if someone was reading over my shoulder. I def would've got off whether it was my stop or not too.

That was actually hilarious OP, thanks for making my day!

What a creep :O I would have just moved away

To the people saying OP was being over dramatic, the man could have been a murderer. I'd run too.

Considering there was someone a couple years back in my country (Canada) who was beheaded and had parts of his limbs eaten by a random guy sitting next to him on a Greyhound bus... I honestly don't blame you for doing this.

I had a similar experience, except the train was full since it happened during rush hour. Two men, who are friends, decided to sit on either side of me. They talked about how they support terrorists and then they started asking me for my opinion. I got off at the next stop, despite the fact that it was the wrong stop, and I was going to school to write an exam.
