Some people never mature. I mean how low does your self esteem have to be, or how empty does your life have to be, to call a little girl ugly? Especially within earshot! I'm not saying they should call adults ugly, but at least then the person can defend themselves. Poor girl. OP just keep reminding your daughter how beautiful she is, especially compared to those horrible women. (CLICHE ALERT!) The most unattractive thing to me is a horrible personality.(CLICHE OVER) I remember the "bad haircut stage" with my sister, she liked to cut it herself, but she grew out of it and if it was for another reason, no worries, hair grows back. To think that two adults could say something so horrible about a child is so disgusting.

Im not going to say I've never said a child was ugly but never out loud in front of the child and their parents thats just rude. Make all the jokes you want in the privacy of your own home but they should no better than to go around insulting people in public.

Who calls little kids ugly? Especially within hearing distance? Kids have enough to deal with their peers, they don't need adults being jerks to them too. They sound like lowlives.
