Today, I was pulled over by my father who is a police officer. He was training a rookie and gave me a breathalyzer test to show his trainee how to do it. I blew a .15 and was taken to jail. FML

Wait... did he pull you over by chance or was it that he told you he was going to? And you are a total douchebag if you were driving with a .15 and you deserve to go to jail. DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE PERIOD

I think it's pathetic you chose to drive drunk.

I'm voting YDI. Didn't you listen to your dad when he said "Don't drink and drive?"

LOL @ #78 and everyone who agreed with them. While the guy from the Netherlands was incorrect to think that their measure (BrAC) was the same as ours (BAC), to say that it takes until your blood can get to 30% alcohol before you die is hilarious! You would have to replace ALL of your blood with 60-proof to get it that high!! So, now for those interested in reality: 0.08%-0.10% BAC = DUI and anything above 0.40% BAC = coma/death.

Dipshit, your father should've pulled out the TASER. YDI.

You're an awful human being and I hate you.

See im not going to be mean like these other people. but your dad is a tool for pulling you over and havent you learned to take the back roads when your drunk. lol

depending on a persons size and weight their BAC does not necessarily reflect how drunk they are, if this individual is much over 200lbs he probably wouldnt even be buzzing

You shouldn't have been drinking if you planned on driving anyway. You deserved that one.

Getting a DUI sucks. I've been there. I was a .18, and I was pretty sloshed, but it got me to join AA, and I've been sober for six months. Also, basically everything everyone has said about DUI laws is BS. A 0.08% BAC means 0.08 grams of alcohol per milliliter. In the Netherlands, Germany and Central Europe, they used permicile BAC, which is simply 10 times the percent BAC. In American terms, a Dutch permicile BAC of 0.2 is the same as a percentage BAC of 0.02, which is practically nothing. An 0.15 percent BAC is 7 or 8 drinks for your average man.
