Today, I was running with two other women when a guy started tailing us in his car and catcalling. I quickly got fed up and gave him the finger. Turns out, he's the husband of one of the women I was running with. For the next half hour, I had to listen to her go on about how adorable he was. She totally saw what I did. FML

Today, I was out when a guy walking with his girlfriend eyed me up. I made a shocked face at him and kept walking. The next thing I knew, his girlfriend was beating the shit out of me claiming that I was "the other woman." I'd never seen the guy before in my life. FML

Today, a car was tailgating and honking at me while trying to pass me, so I decided to be a bitch back and go extremely slow. We got to a two lane road and the car passed me up. The man in the front seat flipped me off while pointing to his wife in the back seat who was clearly in labor. FML

Today, I met a new guy at work who wouldn't stop hitting on me. We ended up on a six-hour shift together watching a pool, so we were wearing nothing but bathing suits when he began grabbing me inappropriately. When I confided in my female coworker about it, she told me that he was her husband. FML

Today, a guy was hitting on me when I was at a café. I told him I was married, but it didn't deter him, so I told him to go away. Later, my husband came home from work with his boss for dinner and sure enough, it was the same guy who was hitting on me. Suffice to say, it was one awkward dinner night. FML

Today, my boyfriend took me on a drive while he did some errands. I waited for him in the car with my bare feet on his dashboard, like I usually do. As I waited, I noticed a woman blatantly taking pictures of my feet from across the lot, and she winked at me. I cowered in my seat until he came back. FML

A stranger catcalling you is not fun and adorable and you had no way of knowing. On the other hand, I'm sure he didn't mean to spook you. This is something you could laugh off two minutes after it happened, why the sitcom-esque awkwardness game?

Well that was a totally appropriate response to the situation, I've seen women in the same situation walk over to the cat caller and punch or mace them not to mention him following you while harassing you is technically sexual harassment and stalking and some states might want to let the running buddy know that before a cop pulls him over , tho that would teach him a lesson.

If she thinks it’s cute to put her running buddies in an awkward situation, I wouldn’t run with her anymore. If the others didn’t know it was a game with them either, they were probably tiring of it too and glad you did it.

And you're feeling awkward? perhaps the wonderful husband should feel like he's been behaving shabbily... Maybe he only does it to make his wife feel good, but still, for the friends, it's not cool at all.
