Today, I was rushed to the emergency room in crippling pain, thanks to a very dangerous cluster of cysts on my ovaries that could rupture at any time. My boyfriend took this news as my way of denying him sex and broke up with me for "going to obscene lengths" to emasculate him. FML

I know that pain- just wait for the beard, crying over infertility, and pizza face. Hormones screw with everything, it is unreal ;-; You deserve nothing but support, be glad you got rid of such a shallow loser! The cysts will pop, and they will hurt like hell. Some people seriously don't get it, from my dad saying "just do sit ups until the cysts are all gone" to some girls saying, "stop being such an attention seeker, periods don't even hurt that bad". Periods are a thousand times worse with cysts or endometriosis! It's a long road to finding the right meds that won't have more side effects than it is worth, OP. Good luck and message me if you need to complain to someone who understands :3

Cysts don't necessarily mean infertility. It'll make it harder but not impossible. That's the only thing that gets me through it most days. There's still a chance!

Wow! Mine did too. I told him I couldn't have sex because I have cysts all in my pelvic area and it could cause them to pop and cause extreme issues. His response was "....don't you wanna at least try?" -.- and a few months later he broke up with me. So I get that. But trust me, you're better off without him.

Sorry to hear that op. My ex has the same issue, it causes her EXTREME pain when one ruptures, she'll call me and I go and completely take care of her cause she can't even get out of bed, I even carry her to the bathroom. Your boyfriend needs to get some empathy for your situation and maybe learn that its not always about him. That or you need a new boyfriend.
