Today, I was shocked to notice that my hair has started growing out entirely silver, supposedly due to pregnancy. I'm 19. Apparently, according to my aunt, "It runs in the family." FML

Embrace it. My brother went silver at 15. He made it work for him. The chicks go bananas.

Could be worse: what if female balding ran in the family?

Maybe you shouldn't be having a kid at the age of 19...

Congrats on the pregnancy OP, good luck and I hope you and your baby have a healthy and happy pregnancy! Don't listen to the haters, at 19 it's your choice and I'm sure you can do it! Rock that silver hair, what makes you special is the things that are different. xoxo

Pregnant at 19? Oh boy. Hope you are married and plan to put life on hold for a while.

Why? She doesn't *have* to be married to be a good mother. For all we know, she might even be planning to put it up for adoption, in which case she won't be putting life "on hold". You have no idea what her situation is, so don't be so quick to judge

While some teen moms don't succeed our government helps them A LOT! I'm an adult with no children and I can't afford my own place and student loans are killing me. But if I had gotten knocked up 10 years ago school would have been paid for and I would have discounted living opportunities! All without having to file for welfare or have food stamps! F my life!

I wouldn't worry, OP. It's just a hair colour. :) Embrace it - I know quite a lot few young women who spend heaps of money to get silver put in their hair (apparently it's something of a trend in my town). I started going silver at 17 - not due to pregnancy, it's just my father's genetics showing through. My paternal grandmother was fully grey by the time she was 30 (my current age). I just have a 'Pepe Le Pew' streak at this point. I've always thought it was pretty.

Shouldn't you be more concerned about being pregnant at 19??
