Today, I was shopping with my baby daughter when an older woman came up to me. She glared and said, "You know, if you kids learned how to keep your legs closed, you wouldn't be a mother at 16." I'm 25. FML

oh thats a complement. You must look young.

Even if you were 16, she shouldn't have just come up and said that. People are unbelievably rude. Seriously, it's none of their business, screw off.

That used to happen to my sister-in-law all the time when her kids were little. Now everyone just thinks their siblings! Lol

That is so rude of her! She didn't even know your age and she made such a rude assumption like that! Ugh. They say something's wrong with our generation.

ummm that's a complement be happy cause ya look young

Not only is that woman a complete and utter bitch for making assumptions and being rude to your face like that, but also some teen mothers are perfectly capable of looking after a child. Yes, there's the setback of interferance with their education but the majority of them manage just fine and make great moms. I know one girl who had a baby at 17, she's 19 now and she's raised a beautiful little girl just fine. She shouldn't go around bashing teen parents, OR making rude ass assumptions about strangers and their children.

Well you probably look really young.... Take it as a complement!!

I'm almost 15 and people mistake me as like, a 4th grader. Even my sister's teacher at high school thought I was a little kid. I go to that school.
