Today, I was showing my friend's dad an airsoft gun I was hoping he would be interested in buying. It's a pistol worth about 90 bucks. In the midst of showing him, I thought it would be funny to do a fake, upwards "pistol whip". The mag ended up flying out full speed and hitting him in the eye. FML

Were you trying to be cool? Two problems: 1. Airsoft guns do not make you cool (can be fun though) 2. ******* pistol whipping with a plastic gun? Seriously... Not trying to sound like an ass btw. Just found this fml a little different. :)

Yes, because guns are like toys. Why would anything go wrong from playing with them?

playing with guns is all fun and games until someone loses an eye. but until then, play with guns. do many things with them, especially all the cool things you've seen in movies. until someone loses an eye. then stop.

#37.... its an airsoft first of all.. not a real gun. second... he didnt shoot him in the eye. get it straight before you start insulting someone.

YDI for not being smart enough to know when your handling any gun you put on the saftey when your not using it you fucktard

Uh, you do know that the magazine is not connected in any way to the safety right? All the safety does is hold the trigger so the gun cannot fire. He didn't get shot in the eye, the magazine, which is the thing that holds the bb's, flew out and hit his friend's father in the eye. Learn to get your facts straight, and too read, before you try posting anything else

I have airsoft stuff...its all full metal and my SVD Draganov is full metal and wood

I honestly dont understand why everyone always tries to be funny.. what exactly do you gain by it???

90 dollars for a plastic toy gun?

Why did you feel the need to add in the price...?

For people that don't know, a $90 airsoft pistol probably has a full metal, .5 pound magazine.
