Today, I walked into a gas station and saw some $.25 gum. It looked good and I thought I had a quarter in my pocket. I found no change in my pocket once I got to the register, so I pulled out my credit card. The cashier laughed a few seconds later when my card was declined for a piece of gum. FML

Maybe you shouldn't buy frivolous items when you're out of money. use your credit card to buy a meal, rather than candy.

Candy is not a neccessity. If you're broke, you drop luxuries like that. I don't know where you're from but in the US, the minimum charge to a credit card is $1.

Where on earth did you find a candy bar on sale for only 28 cents? Edit: LMAO, I see I'm not the only one to be asking that question. I call BS. I don't think I've ever seen a candy bar in my life that cost less than 75 cents, *maybe* 50.
