Today, I was talking to my future mother-in-law about my upcoming wedding. She told me that I wasn't allowed to have the wedding at a church, nor wear a white dress, nor have roses for flowers, because that would mean I'd be "copying" her. FML

Today, I called my mom to make sure she could attend on the wedding day my fiancé and I had discussed. She started off with criticizing the venue we considered, then went on to criticize my fiancé, and then stated she would under no circumstances help out, but demanded to pick my wedding dress. FML

Today, my soon-to-be mother-in-law decided that she is going to be in charge of planning my wedding. All decisions must be approved by her, and anything she doesn't like will be thrown out. She also wants to go on our honeymoon with us to make sure I don't "defile" her son. FML

I would not give a damn what she says or thinks. She could always keep her ass home. But since she's this ridiculous, I think you should have your wedding at the same church and have roses there just to **** with her. You're really gonna have trouble with this woman. And if and when you decide to have children, she'll probably say that you can't name your child after your husband because that will be copying her. Smh.

In all honestly, I'd totally be okay with that since I'm not religious, hate roses, and white dresses are like big towels. But if someone said I couldn't do it, that'd anger me enough to do it! ._.
