Don't take it to heart, I know plenty of girls with short hair who look just fine and aren't lesbians (myself included)! She's stuck in the past where every single girl had long hair just because it was the norm.

I have short hair and am straight. I had very long hair for years, and got sick of the constant maintenance on it to keep nice. Short hair doesnt turn to a rats nest if its even slightly windy like my long hair did.

Tell your aunt it's impossible to "end up being lesbian" because of something you do, unless that something is being attracted to other women. Congrats on your blue belt!

So lovely that she supported you in your achievement. And so what if you became a lesbian. There are worse things in the world than women loving women. My sister had short hair for a long time and also played soccer. She now is married to a military man and has the most precious little girl.
