Today, I was texting the girl I am in love with. I was dropping hints about liking someone who I didn't know if they liked me back. Flirting a little. And just when I thought she'd say she liked me too, she said "Don't worry, if you were straight, I would definitely date you!". FML

No offence to the op but in my personal experience, when a girl says that she really means "I know you're straight, I know you like me, but I wouldnt ever go out with you in a million years so I'll use this line to put you off" it's pretty much the same as "you're such a great friend" It really means theres nothing gonna happen there ever
