Today, I was texting two people at once. Trying to respond to my friend's text, I accidentally clicked on this guy's name instead, who I've never met. He just told me about his grandma's funeral he went to that was an open casket. I responded with, "Haha wow you slut, I'm sure you were aroused." FML

ok first of all, i didnt really meant to say id never met him, because i actually did meet him once it was just informal, and i didnt meet him over the internet or something dumb like that. and i think its fixed because i told him the situation with my other friend and he said it was ok. and yes it is very common for girls to call each other ***** as a joke, even though it is kinda dumb to do.

Its neither FYL nor YDI, who cares, you've never met him. If he's angry, tell him to screw off. If he's just confused, explain it to him and apologize. On a side note, I hear girls call each other all kinds of names all the time. Some are serious and some are jokes, its not that immature its pretty commonplace.

lol been there, done that! it sucks though, when its something serious or something you're not supposed to know and it gets mixed up. I had a guy dump me over something like this. Hopefully he understands and he's not upset... and i agree with platinumgold. i don't think its necessarily immature, but its just lazy and annoying and hopefully just a fad. i hate hearing girls call each other that. i would never call one of my friends that, and i think it's so stupid when girls do! gah!

the fact that the text message was meant for your friend is still an FYL because why would you say something like that to your friend if she went to a funeral for her grandma in the first place? thats horrible!

Read the first sentence and I knew the story. If you're going to text multiple people at the same time, you better double check the message and destination every text.
