If you spent so much time getting yourself educated and building up your resume, why the hell would you apply for a job as a cashier? Idiot...
maybe you should have gotten a job during the 4+ years you were in school. regardless of education, having NO experience will disqualify you from many, if not most, jobs--entry level, included.
That's because we almost never hire cashiers. Grow a pair and apply for sales.
Don't worry, small businesses(I mean small as in relation to huge businesses like UPMC, Hospitals, etc.) Usually hire people that don't have a great school history. I don't know why, but that's just how it is. Think if it this way, you're probably just too good for them.
This was 2 years ago.. You probably got a better job anyway.
Welcome to America.
im really sorry. don't give up!
It's the economy.
You could just be over qualified. They are probably scared that if they hire you, you would be promoted to their job. Its their loss though

You sound like a driven individual that will give a sustained effort to excel. You are clearly not Best Buy material. Take your rejection as a compliment.
its the damn economy, not your fault...
