Op: *gets off and starts pumping his own gas* Random person: Oh my god he is pumping his own gas he is a criminal.* calls the cops on OP*
I have to that's the dumbest shit I've ever heard...
One alternative to actually creating jobs is to preserve obsolete ones. They ought to bring back bidet operators.
Don't forget door holders and elevator-button pushers. PS: remember to leave your bottles out, the milkman comes today!
In some countries or nice hotels they still have doormen and elevator attendants...in my rammstein special magazine regarding their made in Germany 2012 tour there's a group photo taken with one of the elevator attendants in a wheelchair and I guess rammstein on tour travels frequent that particular hotel and know the attendant more personally. That'd be wonderful bringing jobs like that back to everywhere not just fancy places to not just create jobs but people would be getting out more again perhaps VS depending on technology? Just a wishful thought, I think people would be a hell of a lot more nice if they had more social communication. Like the movie pleasantville in certain instances :)
It always blows my mind how different gas stations are other places. Like places where you always have to pay first. The only times I've seen gas stations make you pay first is at like 2:00 am. Do your restaurants also make you pay before eating?
Don't give them ideas!! O_o
It is a $500 fine if someone pumps their own gas in Oregon, at minimum. So if cops were alway at the station, I could see how they.became involved. Usually the attendents are not that big of dicks. (sorry, my phone does not allow me to comment on other comments, so I don't know if anyone will even see this...)
That's hilarious. I live in Oregon soo....
same here. have since i was about 7. when my boyfriend and i visited Washington, he had to show me how to even operate the pump. i still don't know if i could figure it out. -_-;; it was embarrassing. thankfully, in Washington, if someone with an Oregon plate is staring forlornly at a gas pump, someone tends to come over and help you (and sometimes not even station employees!)
Keywords
"Sir we just need you to stop pumping your own gas." "Why can't I pump my own gas?" "Target isn't replying, shoot to kill!"
Seems odd to me that the worker would call the police before just letting you know. Unless they were passing by of course.
