Today, I was volunteering at a gift-wrapping booth to raise money for autism, and helping others takes my mind off the fact that my mom died at Christmas. While carefully wrapping a present, offering bows, ribbons, and a gift tag, a snobby bitch said to me, "You're not doing a very good job." FML
I agree, your life sucks 26 140
You deserved it 2 141

Ah, don't mind the stupid little shit. You obviously do a much better job than she ever would.

Screw her, keep your chin up and don't let the muggles get you down. Sorry to hear about your mother

They have a bad rep because they are very "pro-cure" and don't have anybody with autism working for them. A lot of us high-functioning autistics don't like the idea that we have a "disease".

not only "high functioning" (how I hate that term) autistic people hate Autism Speaks. They're just despised in general for their misinformation and abuse of autistic people, including claiming that autism is a worse affliction than cancer, that it somehow "steals" children, and purposely putting autistic kids through hell so that they can point and be like "SEE SEE THESE THINGS ARE THE WORST". Also they're anti vaccine so if you don't hate them for their hatred of those they claim to "help", then hate them for their hatred of science. If you want to support autistics, go to ASAN (Autistic self advocacy network) or related (NOT AUTISM SPEAKS) charities and organizations

What a ****, unhappy miserable people are everywhere. So sorry for your loss.

Well if she is paying to have her present wrapped then I think she should be able to say if her present wrapping is worth her money. It also depends on the way the person said it. There's no need for OP to call her a snobby bitch when she is paying to have it wrapped. It's the same as saying someone didn't make your burger right

Thank you for raising money for people like me!

Ahh, nothing like running into the Christmas Bitch.

the holidays bring out the generosity in some and the bitch in others

I don't mean this in a rude or horrible way but like you said. You put bows and ribbons and gift tags. Maybe the woman thought that it was a little bit tacky because of how cluttered it was. Or maybe she was just being a nitpicker and doesn't understand the meaning of charity. Either way it doesn't really matter because you were doing it for a charity and its not about her or you. Its about the kids.

She offered them the op didn't just put them on. Read the post before being stupid.

Maybe you should have read my whole comment before calling me stupid. Like i had said i meant no offense and it wasnt about her or the woman but the children. Because like she said, she was doing it to for them.

Sucks balls, sorry for that! People can be cruel, hope you have a good holiday tho..

My dad died on st Patrick's day. A day that got me made fun of and picked on for being a ginger
