Today, I was volunteering at a soup kitchen and was advised to leave my wallet and cell phone in my car so they wouldn’t be stolen. Someone broke into my car and stole them. FML

“Alright, here comes another volunteer. Johnny, you ‘advise’ them to leave their wallet in the car then keep them occupied, and I’ll smash the windows!”

leave them in the trunk or glove compartment, rather than in view on the car seat. If they were hidden, that's just bad luck :/

I think soup is going to be the high point of his day.

Did one of the homeless people tell you to do that?

The good news is that now you qualify for free soup.

I think leaving it on your person would have been a better idea.

my money is on the person that told you that being the culprit.

Wouldn't it be better if you had it on you? It would be more difficult to try to mug someone in a crowded dinner place and pretty hard to get to you if they don't work there.
