Just so all of you know, hypochondria is just like any other phobia. She's not looking for attention. Plus, a ton of first year medical students go through a phase where they're convinced that they have all the diseases they learn about. Would you break up with someone because they're a medical student? Plus, what kind of shitty boyfriend would break up with a girl because of a stupid little problem like that?
Being a hypochondriac is actually really hard to live with. I am a mild hypochondriac, and even then it's hard to deal with. I also have mild emetophobia, which all mixed together is a disaster. My mom even makes fun of me for it. Although, she does support me and comfort me when I need it. Please don't make fun of us for it, it just makes us feel like lesser people. Do you even know what I'd do to not freak out at the slightest of symptoms? I'd give everything away just to "be normal."
A hypochondriac misinterprets symptoms and doesn't believe any form of doctor. I suggest going into therapy, if you don't already do that. And of course, try not to think everything applies to you... I used to be a little like that when I was a kid, like, I thought I had cancer and all. For some reason my mom thinks I'm still like that. But no. I'm healthy, and even when I feel a bit sick, I'm like 'It'll be gone in a few days. If it's not, I'll get it checked out then'.
time for a new lady friend...

God, you people are so insensitive! The girlfriend obviously DOES have kuru, OCD, achalasia, melanoma, Crohn's disease, Budd-Chiari malformation, Wolf-Parkinson-White syndrome, Boerhaave's syndrome, acoustic neuroma, cholecystitis, Cushing syndrome, supraventricular tachycardia, toxoplasmosis, and tribadism. I could be wrong on that last one.
hmmm I'm no doctor, but I think she may be wrong
