Hey guys OP here! I asked the little girl if that was her parents and she nodded but 911 told me they were still sending an officer to be 100% sure that everything was accurate. The parents completely understood and were totally fine because they were glad I cared and took action. :)

Good on you OP
Better safe than sorry op
I hope that doesn't discourage you from taking action if you witness something like that in the future. Better safe than sorry, right? And thank you for trying to help!
I respect and admire you for making the call, OP; you just never know. Sure, the parents were probably embarrassed and felt a bit hassled, but in the end I think you did the right thing.
It's good that you called OP! You had no way of knowing if it was a kidnapping out not!
Hey better safe than sorry op. but Id hate to imagine the look on the parents faces when the cops pulled up. :/ FYL
I understand but why would such a negative response be your first assumption this reminds me of when a white man had two black girls and someone called the police in him and they were just his daughters
That reminds me of my dad's favourite story about me. When I was 2 or 3 yrs old he was carrying me and of course I was being a total brat screaming and crying. A group of woman confronted my dad telling him to hand me over and they are going to call the police. He replied here take him and sure enough during the brief exchange they found out really quick I was his son lol

It was an honest mistake op. It's nice that you decided to take action instead of be a bystander! We need more people like you:)
Thank you for actually doing something to try to help rather than just take a video to post on YouTube later.
