Today, I was walking my dog when I saw a man trying to get a screaming little girl into a van. I called 911 and ran over yelling at him. His wife then got out of the van and explained the girl was their daughter and they were just trying to make her go to school. FML

Hey guys OP here! I asked the little girl if that was her parents and she nodded but 911 told me they were still sending an officer to be 100% sure that everything was accurate. The parents completely understood and were totally fine because they were glad I cared and took action. :)

It was an honest mistake op. It's nice that you decided to take action instead of be a bystander! We need more people like you:)

Thank you for actually doing something to try to help rather than just take a video to post on YouTube later.

You're an exceptional person I would've done the same under your circumstances don't knock yourself

You did the right thing and in all honesty it sounds like that they would be just as embarrassed if not more so.

you did the right thing. with things like that you act first ask questions later thankfully it wasn't the worst case scenario

Better safe the sorry OP and your one of the few people that did something about it.

Better safe than sorry. You never know if abductors could be a couple pretending to be a child's parents just to throw people off. Kudos

I would still worry, some people kidnap in teams like that so they don't look suspicious if caught

you did the right thing as a parent of 4 I know I would have appreciated it knowing that someone would have done something if it wasn't my husband or I .

You did the right thing at least, though I bet that was awkward

You did the right thing by challenging them. Trust me, you'd have been FMLing wayyyyy more if it turned out it was a kidnapping and you'd let it happen.

Fyl but I mostly feel for the parents in this one. Imagine what they have to put up with each day..
