This makes absolutely no sense. I have a tank of 8 fish plus a tank of babies. I have one like 3oz can of fish food granules and it's not even half way gone and I've had it for about 3 months. I think you probably are feeding them dogfood.
My husband had very large fish in one of our tanks and the amount of food they ate, including feeder fish etc, was ridiculous. You should probably research a little before you post...
i could tell wat was goin to happen after the first sentence
Your MENSA quality mind makes me jealous, Sherlock.
but another fish?
Did you have a piranha? Can't think of many fish that would have a month's worth of food be heavy.
Was it a shark? That would be awesome; I think that they prefer to kill their own food though, but this would explain the cost and weight of your fishfood... anyway, if it's not too expensive, you can get another one, or take a quick trip to the ocean ^_^ The end.
Are you seriously that stupid, like honestly.
Get another fish?
Buy a new fish! I think ur an idiot if you've already had It for 2 or more years cuz they only live 2 years, also fish only need a sprinkle of food once a day so buying a lot of food for them is just stupid. Dumbass
a year's worth of food shouldn't even be that heavy...
well you can always buy another fish. they have 15 cent goldfish at walmart :)

I think you've been using DOG FOOD to feed your fish. That pretty much explains everything you said.
Just get another one, they're like three bucks
