Today, I was walking with my very attractive friend who I like a lot. She then told me that her roomate wouldn't be home tonight, and if I wanted, I could come over and study history. I didn't get it. I told her no thanks, that I was covered, and it was chem I needed to study. An hour later, I understood. FML

*lol* she should have asked if you wanted to study biology - then you would have understood. I'm voting FYL purely because that post made me go "awwww" and want to give the OP a hug for being all cute and innocent rather than a sleazy perv trying to crack onto his hot friend.

These things happen! At least in a year or so she'll become your best friend because of this. FYL, though...

FYL and YDI. If her room mate is out all night, just call her and tell her you think you want to "study" after all. If she's "studying" with someone else, it's either not worth it, or just try again some other time. It all depends on your point of view.

You need to smile. Would you like a Twinkie?

what if she didnt mean what you think she meant? oh and YDI for not having toenails.

YDI for trying to just get sex out of it (and failing to do so, this would still have been a YDI had you succeeded). A girl put herself in a vulnerable position, and you tried to take her up on that and use her. Yeah, she's at fault too for putting herself out there in the first place, but that doesn't give you a green light to go ahead and do that. ****. What the hell is it with like 97% of the guys here on FMyLife thinking with their dicks? Obviously yeah, it's fun to joke around with that sometimes, but realy? It seems like most of the people making these stupid, misogynistic comments seriously live their lives with that mindset. WTF? internet is serious business, etc

Wow you're a fag #35. Actually I take that back, that would be an insult to all gay people.

allmidnighteyes, You seem like a good guy, so I am going to help you out. Back in the old days, it was thought that when a couple had sex, it was great for the man, but it was disgusting and humiliating for the woman and she just did it to realize some kind of gain in the future. Then, we discovered their secret: they like it. In fact, we discovered that they have these things called orgasms, and if you are doing your job as a man, they can have many more than you can. I would never suggest that anyone force themselves on an unwilling woman, but if a girl is asking you back to be with her in her room alone, you may want to see what she wants from you. I can guarantee you that if your guess is correct, she won't just be laying back and thinking of England.

oh my god your stupid.. Feel sorry for you though.. YDI!!

You're spelling is atrocious though. Note: That was intensional Note: That two.

I'm really amused that all the guys are saying "YDI, You're gay, You tool, You're Stupid" and a lot of the girls are saying "Aww.. that's cute." Psst: It means you guys are doing it wrong.

Yeah you're right a minority vote means the majority are wrong, how foolish of us males to have an opinion

um, ...... yeah, i'm pretty sure she wasn't saying we were necessarily wrong, just that girls don't really care for guys who's number one objective is sex. and i'm not totally convinced that she didn't just literally mean study, i study with girls all the time for the simple reason that they are the only people i know in whatever class. Study doesn't have to mean sex, or anything sexually related, if there were no obvious clues at the time when she asked him, what made him suddenly realize that she meant sex, it seems to me that this guy got asked to study by a female, and was full of himself that he later convinced himself that she wanted him with no real evidence to go on.

If she really, honestly, wanted to /JUST/ study, why would she tell him that her roommate wouldn't be there that night?

How exactly does "study history" automatically mean "have sex"? Did it occur to anyone else that maybe she really did want to study history with a friend she viewed as platonic?

It was the part that the roommate wouldn't be home that was the clue! If it was really to study history, what the **** difference would it have made if the roommate was there or not? It's ironic she wanted to "study history" and because of your stupidity, you ARE history.

And it certainly was chemistry that he needed to study.
