Today, I was washing some clothes in the laundry room at my apartment complex. I went back an hour later, passed my neighbor on the way in, and moved my clothes to the dryer. I just brought them back from the dryer, and all my underwear are missing. FML

Methinks the neighbor isn't being creepy - (s)he's just taking revenge for the person leaving their laundry unattended in a public laundry room. It does NOT take an hour to wash a load of clothes. (S)He was probably really pissed that their schedule was screwed up by this person, and thought "Hm, pour bleach in the wash, or steal her underwear... Decisions, decisions".. YDI.

You do know that a wash cycle takes less than an hour, right? Sure, machines vary, but no machine takes an HOUR. The usual rule of thumb for communal laundry room protocol is to remove your stuff from the machine within ten minutes of the cycle ending. After that, other people are at liberty to take your stuff out themselves so that they can use the machine. If they also take your panties in the process, well, shame on them, but you had it coming. Set an alarm and be back on time next time.

Dude, I totally had that happen. We caught the guy on camera stealing my delicates, and took him to court.

weird I submitted the same FML awhile ago and it didn't make it. Apparently underwear thieves are more common than we all think/

You probably won't be seeing him for a while. He'll be in his room sniffing your undies all day long.
