Today, I was wondering why my home smelled so weird, until I found out that my 4 year old son had been secretly scattering around food he didn't like to eat throughout the house. How did I find out? No one else in this family leaves half eaten spinach all over my underwear drawer. FML

In most families you eat together at one table and get up when everybody is ready. How exactly did your 4 year old son manage to scatter around food througout the house?

I hid things i didn't want to eat in the vcr. my parents had to fix it a lot of times. they're strict parents. i was just learning to walk. there's not much to do about it except supervise

what's up with all these spinach stereotypes?? I love spinach, I've loved spinach since I was a little kid. this FML sounds fake. why would you let your kid run around the house with spinach?? and if your kid is 4, you should watch while he eats, seriously no one would let their four year old eat alone?? and that is why I think this is fake.......

It's mean and stupid to force kids to eat what they don't like. You totally deserved it. (Even though it sucks that your kid is so imaginative)

It's worse to let kids eat whatever they want. Force your kid to eat veges they have to taste something they don't like for a few minutes while getting the nutrition they need. Let them eat microwaved burgers or some over processed crap and limit their palette for life, encourage unhealthy eating habits, don't provide enough iron and nutrients and let them believe that if they just cry enough you'll give in and let them have their own way.

People like you are the reason why so many children are fat and sick!

I feel for you, my sister did the same thing, she could hide food everywhere

for all you saying the spinach was probably taken before dinner, OP said it was half-eaten. And for those saying OP needs to eat as a family, kids are sneaky. ever think he could have stashed it in his clothes when nobody was looking and then hid it later?

I used to do that with food when I was a kid. I didn't scatter it throughout the house though. I kept it confined to the kitchen. I hid it behind the dining room curtains : )

sounds like you let your kid go to the bathroom or something during meals. That or your kid has serious issues. is he the same one that urinates on the radiator?
