I work in fast food as well. Sounds just like a manager's attitude towards injury.
I always keep a roll of duct tape handy.
I think, by law, there should always be a first aid kit available.
They can get in trouble for that
Dude everyone knows you use paper towel for that.
Oh that's nothing. Once I got hit by a car while biking to school, got a huge gash on my arm, and since it was finals I absolutely could not miss it. Ended up running to school while holding toilet paper to my wound
I'm pretty sure you could have gotten an extension and retest date if you were hit by a car... all it would have taken was a trip to the ER to get checked out. Which you probably should have done anyways.
haha, that's how i have always done it when I had nothing else. on a side note, it is a fast food joint, so he should have had something better and more appropriate for you.
When I worked as a Plummer and you cut your hand on the job you can't ask the customer for a bandaid. So I would carry pieces of cloth all shape and sizes and a roll of ducktape in a side pocket of my duffel bag just in case. But since you work in fast food the really should have a First Aid Kit. So indeed FYL.

Well that's first aid, commando style.
You could sue them, get some money out of the deal? Or do the right thing and but the place a first aid kit, then sue them when you find a dead mouse in it.
