Today, I was working at a local restaurant when another server's table called me over to ask if I've "ever killed anybody". They informed me I looked like a serial killer. I informed them, of course, that I have never killed anybody. Another customer claimed I scared her child. I was fired. FML

This is just so mean that I almost can't believe it. Who calls someone over to inform them that they look like a murderer? What did they expect you to say after asking if you've killed anyone, "Why, yes ma'am, I've murdered about 14 people. I target women wearing red on a full moon. Thanks for asking!"

hahahah we all get that... no, we dont actually. go get a makeover you scary **** :)

Was it that swastika tattoo on your forehead?

tear drop tatts? swastika on forehead? mangy hair? that wild-eyed look? WHO ASKS SOMEBODY THAT QUESTION???

YDI for killing a bunch of innocent people

#12: "Today" doesn't necessarily mean "today." I bet most FMLs are at least a year old. While there are quite a few "I lost my job for BS reasons" FMLs, consider the possibility that some of them are from other countries. Not all countries have the same rights for employees as America does (some are better, many are worse).

Wait, so are you a serial killer? Because, if you are, then ydi, because I don't wait a serial killer serving me.

#24: Good Lord, man! Ever hear of English? You should try it sometime! #57: Why not? Being a *serial* killer means he's a careful planner and good at cleaning up. Otherwise, he would have been caught after the first one or two. I want a server who can remember my order the first time! OP: You mentioned Kansas (in comment 27; I assume that's you). Are you in a small town? Did you piss someone off and this is collaborative revenge? Either way, I'd love to see a picture of you. Can't vote without a pic! :)

#55 Really? I had not considered that "today" does not actually mean that this occured today. You sure schooled me. Your comment on worker's rights in other countries is valid. However, if you are seriously trying to state that this FML is not highly suspect, you have bigger problems to attend to.

that is so hilarious! maybe you should try not to look like a serial killer?
