Today, I was yelled at by a customer because I couldn't tell her where the vitamins were in the pharmacy. The manager came and yelled at me for being lazy and incompetent. I work in the store across the street from the pharmacy. FML

A simple explanation could have made them look like the idiots.

That's when you calmly point out that the pharmacy is across the street, right? Also, ask your boss for a raise to compensate for having to deal with customers who don't know where the **** they are.

I would just like to know what the **** is so complicated about this FML? Why do so many people think that OP is getting yelled at by their boss? OP was CLEARLY shopping at the PHARMACY across the street from where he/she works and was mistaken for an employee. It's REALLY not that hard to understand.

No, OP was working at the store ACROSS from the pharmacy, so she got yelled at by a confused woman who thought she was I'n the pharmacy. Reread the FML

No, OP was IN the pharmacy. It says THE manager, not MY manager.

Maybe because the FML is slightly ambiguous?

She wasn't your customer, but a fellow shopper!

Did you not open your mouth and say so? (Yell "I don't f****ing work here!" if need be, since they were clearly both idiots) If you did, then FYL.

Idk about where OP works but most of the places I worked at were able to tell their employees from other people in the store...

Qu'elle pharmacie ? Uniprix , Jean coutu , Pharmaprix ou Familiprix ?

you know that a simple 'sorry I don't work here' would've solved the whole problem

FYL, but you should've yelled back that you didn't work there...
