Today, I decided to be responsible and call a cab to take my drunk ass home from the bar. As I climbed into the cab, I was quickly pulled back out and had the shit beaten out of me by a group of drunk guys who thought they needed the ride more. The police soon arrived and arrested us all. FML

Today, I went out drinking with my friends. Being safe as we were a little intoxicated, we took a taxi back. The cab driver was also drunk. FML

Today, I went to a bar with a close friend. She got drunk and was feeling sick, so I carried her to my car to take her to her house. Some stranger accused me of drugging her and tackled me with her in my arms. She threw up on me, and he took off running without an apology. FML

Today, I'm recovering from being pepper-sprayed, beat with a baton and Tased, and arrested for assault. I'm a bouncer and was trying to remove a drunk asshole from the bar when the police showed up. FML

Today, a drunk in a wheelchair tried to fight me. I walked away as he kept hurling insults. He then rammed his chair into my legs, making me fall. I walked away again. Upon the second time, I got up and punched him dead in his face, knocking him backward. I was tackled to the ground for hitting him. FML

telling a drunk that they're responsible for making sure the DD stays sober is like telling a Vegan to eat some steak. It ain't gonna happen. did they pick the wrong person to be a DD? obviously. But the blame can't all be put on the drunks. the DD promised to drive home and broke that promise. how is that on the rest of the group?

Lesson learned: The DD can't be trusted to be the responsible one for one night, and can't handle their alcohol. I wouldn't even want to drink with a guy like this when he wasn't the DD. If he is getting tased, that is a clear indication he is possibly trouble you don't want drunk around you. Nothing like having a drunk friend pick a fight with you either in public or at home.
