I don't really find that funny. Some/most people that work at Mcdonalds work there because that's the only job that's hiring... and not all of them are dumb. Money is money, and if you're scrambling, you'll take any job.

True, but is it more likely that someone working at McDonald's or NASA is an idiot? Not all people working low pay, simple jobs are idiots, but most idiots do work low pay, simple jobs.

That is also true, but someone could be smart enough to have a high paying job, but just can't get there or there simply is no room.
