Today, I watched my co-worker throw the mother of all temper tantrums. He's a radio personality, and just learned that he's not famous enough to use the "Don't you know who I am?" line to get out of a traffic ticket. FML

At least that's good material to make fun of him for on air if you're ever on his channel

Ha, serves him right for trying to exploit the system through power/ fame . "I'm Ron burgundy."

Even I wouldn't know who a radio celebrity is until I'd see them in their physical form on TV or something. Other than that, I can't go by voice unless it's a really unique, one-of-a-kind voice or name.

Not many radio personalities are recognized in the real world. I wouldn't be able to pick out my favorite host because I haven't actually seen him, only heard him.

God that's annoying. I would've doubled his fine if I could.

NO ONE is famous enough to use that line.

I do believe that any ambassador has immunity in America. So ...

I was meaning that people shouldn't feel entitled to get out of things because of their status or fame. Thanks for proving me wrong, though!

I agree, just playing devils advocate. :) you are completely right in my opinion though. Especially chp , they tend to get you for any little thing they can.

The answer to his question is "the douchebag about to get a ticket."

"Don't you know who I am? I'm ******' Dinky from the Dinky and Dingus radio show at 9 in morning! I'm in charge of the soundboard! So you better let me of with a warning or I'll school you so hard on our 'throw-throw-th-th-th-throwback hour' at 10, got it?"

maybe the officer did know who he was, just didn't care.

Glad to see a cop doing their job and not placing OP's co-worker above the law!
