I have come to the conclusion that those voting YDI are illiterate.
I definitely would have slapped the shit out of that kid. Kudos to your self-control. I have a lot of self-control, but certainly not enough to not go into a blind rage at such stupidity and break some shit.
i agree with #131, definitely have more patience and self-control than i do. those parents are awful, awful people, they see their kid playing with an ipod that has ANOTHER PERSON'S NAME written on it, and they actually have the gall to deny their kid did anything wrong? Please, no one's that stupid. They obviously never taught their kid to respect other people or their property. Reading fml's like this just makes me hate children more, as if i actually needed more reasons, and i'm not a fan of parents either. don't get me wrong, the parent as a person may be just fine - just when they go into "parent mode", that's when i can't stand them. if you had your driver's license you could have shown that to the parents, but since they're such unreasonable people i doubt that would have convinced them.
Why did you not call the cops right there and then on them? Confront them AND the staff on the spot. My GF once dropped her phone switching busses but did not realize it immediatly, when she returned back she found her unique case on the ground and a woman holding her phone trying to pick it up, at first she went in with thank you for picking up my phone, but the woman clamied it was hers... Even with my GF own picture as background.... The woman tried to scare her with daring to call the cops but my GF was fine with it, she ended up having to fight to get her phone back. But i would have called the cops on them there and then. Now you have to hope the cops do their work or parents dont erase evidence before they do. Anyway good luck.
Wow.. That's good, hopefully you get it back. It's sad, the kid's parents are definitely in for a treat if they allow him to steal easily at such a young age. Real sad
Ask for the security
Report that and the serial number to the police. If it's true and your story checks out you can get it back. My car 5 years ago was broken into my iPod video was stolen amongst other things, I reported it to the police with the serial number. 3 weeks later I got a phone call from a police detective some guy about an hour from where I live was trying to pawn it with other stolen goods and I got my iPod back I couldn't believe it. If it's truly yours and you have the serial number to prove it contact the police and the bowling alley you just may get it back !!
You should have called the cops.
It was over a year ago and it is possible that someone would have the same case that you had. It's a loss get over it
And conveniently have the guy's first and last name on the back? Read the comments.
