Today, I went bowling. I noticed a 10-year-old holding an iPod Touch which had the exact same customized case with my name on it as my iPod that was stolen a year ago at the same bowling centre. Even better, the parents yelled at me for accusing him. I got kicked out the bowling centre. FML

Some parents don't deserve to be parents

They went back to the scene of the crime without even trying to disguise the stolen goods? FYL

Im wondering why the parents didn't believe you, considering the fact they they clearly didn't buy it for him. I mean seriously, your son mysteriously comes home with an Ipod and now a person tries to reclaim it and the parents take the sons side. Shame.

Well, they either thought their kid was pweshious widdle snowflake who COULDN'T POSSIBLY have done such a thing, or they're pieces of $%&* who don't care about anyone but themselves. Maybe both.

I hate people who treat their son like Jesus while he's clearly the devils child. PS: I'm not religious but this expression fits my thoughts perfectly

That's bullshit. Ten year olds don't just suddenly have an iPod touch. It's got your name on it for crying out loud.

Had you filed a police report at the time it was stolen, you could have called them and reported it now. If nothing else, you would have had evidence and could have handled things through the proper authorities.

Read the comments that OP posted here. He said that he called the police and now he's getting his iPod back...

Oh well, there's a newer version now so your stolen one is obsolete.

Two things. One, I do hope you get it back and that kid and his parents get a record, as it is obvious they knew he stole it. Two, when you get it back, you need to go back to the bowling alley and have a talk with the manager, as someone who works either knew the kid stole it, knew the parents let or encourage their child to steal, or is letting them steal in the first place.
