Why not call police?
That's ridiculous! Your iPod isn't worth getting into a fight with those people...
An iPod is not just a worthless electronic device. It's social connection, it's the strong emotions you feel watching videos on it, it's the buddy that travels with you in your journeys and probably most importantly it brings the music you love. It's not just an iPod, it's his iPod.
How is anything worth over $150 NOT worth trying to get back? Are you that rich that you can just throw it about? If so then well good for you, but for the rest of us, buying something that's as expensive as say an Ipod or another music player/phone/tablet, is a much bigger deal. When I got my Ipod it was about $200, now I dunno what model OP has, but it's still costly. With many jobs making only $7.5 an hour, maybe up to $10 dollars an hour do the math on how many hours you gotta work your ass off to make the kind of money it takes to buy a costly electronic device.
I'm not super rich, I just find that certain things are more important than money...
Hope u called the police and showed the recipt that u bought it
forget everything! Jack that kid! steal it back by brute force, and run for it. you won't get in trouble if you don't get caught!
For something like that, keep the receipts. Also wouldn't hurt to have records of the serial number registered with Apple and iTunes. Then you should be able to track it with those if lost or stolen. People have been doing that when stuff disappears when traveling abroad. TSA employees have been busted a lot lately from stealing stuff like that when people use tracking systems. Learn from that, and best of luck OP!
It could still be a coincidence. The kid could have the same name as you. The only way you could know is by looking at the serial. My question is, why didn't you have it canceled with apple? They could've stopped it from working for him.
You just handled it wrong. Should have waited until the kid set it down and stole it back. I used to go to this pool hall. My favorite green corduroy jacket (with three spots of hot pink fabric paint, from an accident, on the sleeve) went missing one night. I was back in the pool hall 4 months later for an event. Sitting at my table, my friends and I notice this jacket on the back of chair that looks just like the one I lost. Upon examination, there were the pink paint stains on the sleeve, so we casually picked it up when no one was looking and walked out the door. I still have my jacket now, lol
Has anybody else thought that maybe the kids name was the same, and a year ago the parents saw it and stole it, then gave it to their son as a gift? Of course they would yell and make a scene to avoid being busted in front of their kid.
