Today, I went for a job interview I scheduled 3 weeks ago. I spent $200 on a new suit to really impress them and practised like crazy every imaginable question they could ask. They already had filled the position 2 weeks ago and forgot to inform me. FML

That sucks. On the other hand, now you have a nice new suit!

Gah, see this is why I HATE interviews. They just treat you like dirt and expect you to lap it up in the hopes of a job.

You wouldn't have gotten it. You spelled practiced wrong.

It's actually spelt both ways. ;-)

yes but it's spelled not spelt

Spelt is correct also depending on where you are from.

That sucks... but at least you're 90% prepared for the next interview that comes along

They didn't forget to inform you, they were just too lazy to cancel the interview. DAMN BITCHES!!!

No, the OP is clearly not English if you bother to realise in England, the dollar is not the currency used. Also, in this context, practised is the correct use.

Lol 71, I thought it'd be clear that 52 is ignorant. He doesn't realize that there are alternative spellings to a word, especially if you live in a different country. He's arguing about the spelling of the word, not the tense. Honestly, it seems like some people live under a rock ><.

maybe you shouldn't have got the job in the first place, seeing as you can't spell practice right
