I think it's more appropriate to say "be healthy" than to say "be skinny". They mean two different things..

well sorry to say this but if you are so overweight that a place of business would get a heavy duty chair for you then a diet and exercise are your friend. most places wouldn't do that for someone that was a few pounds overweight.
at least they offered you a chair. who cares.
Maybe the chair you were originally in was like busted and he didn't want someone to sit in a broken chair?
