Today, I went on a date with an extremely cute girl. About 30 minutes in, she excused herself to the restroom. I waited for about 20 minutes, then I got up and left. About 10 minutes later, she called asking where I was. FML

She should have texted you if she was taking such a long time and let you know what was happening. There is often a line for women's restrooms, and she was probably waiting for most of those 20 min... Hope everything worked out in the end!

OP says she wasn't feeling well, which most likely means she was a little too, uh, busy to text him. And having been in that position before, I think she's lucky that it only took half an hour!

I'm surprised no one came up with the idea that she could have potentially gotten her period unexpectedly and had to find product or attempt to wash her clothes. This has happened to every woman at least once in their lifetime and it sucks but you can't really avoid it.
