1) Women NEVER have to wait 20 minutes for the toilet. Granted yes, there are often queues, but if you're waiting that long something is definitely wrong with that place. 2) Unexpected periods and reapplying make up: neither of these take 20 minutes to fix. If she wasn't bleeding before the date, it won't have come on so strongly that it's leaked through her clothes, and there are usually tampons/pads in the toilet. 3) **Even though she had an illness that kept her in there for that long** she should have at least tried to find some way to explain to the OP what was happening, even if it meant asking another toilet-user to pass on the message, or texting/calling, since we know that she had a working phone and his number. tl;dr she was in the wrong no matter how you look at this.

You should’ve call her or tried to reach her. Not just leave.
