Today, I went out to a bar with some of my friends. They're all in committed relationships, but every single one of them got hit on. I'm single, and yet again, nobody even said hi to me. FML

that happens a lot apparently. I think it has to do with the confidence level- they A) aren't looking for partner, and B) are more happy since they have one. many single people don't have the same confidence level and therefore seem less attractive to others.

Don't let it get you down. The right person is out there. Don't be afraid to make the first move either. Throw us guys a line every now and then.

Aw maybe the people that hit on them just have bad taste? :P

its not your fault op. people in relationships are more appealing to others because they like the challenge of trying to nab that person.

Maybe you're so amazingly attractive that they automatically assume that you're already taken, and they think they have no chance, so they don't hit on you.

you'll find someone op!! I know you will just stay strong

It's true, when I was in a relationship I was hit on like crazy, now single me is invisible. You project an aire of confidence because you've already found someone. You don't come off as thirsty

If you want to get hit on, invest in a wedding ring. Guaranteed to work. Of course, the people who will hit on you are not likely relationship material. But it may help the ego a bit.
