Today, I went out to a bar with some of my friends. They're all in committed relationships, but every single one of them got hit on. I'm single, and yet again, nobody even said hi to me. FML

that happens a lot apparently. I think it has to do with the confidence level- they A) aren't looking for partner, and B) are more happy since they have one. many single people don't have the same confidence level and therefore seem less attractive to others.

Don't let it get you down. The right person is out there. Don't be afraid to make the first move either. Throw us guys a line every now and then.

Nothing ever goes on sale untill you buy one.

I actually hear about this lots. People who are really comfortable and happy with their relationship status (whether it's single or not) seem to attract the most attention. A couple people have said it and I think it's exactly what it is... confidence. You're comfortable, happy, and confident and people are drawn to that. It doesn't necessarily say anything about you so try not to let it bring you down. Just try to focus on enjoying your life even if you are single. I know it's easier said than done, but try.

That is called the relationship effect. People who are in relationships tend to look and act more attractive than those who aren't.

Damn it I hate when I hit the you deserve it button when I clearly don't mean to it needs to be changed to where it can be undone

As a guy who is painfully single, I know your pain.

I believe it's the mentality that contributes to the attitude. Whenever I'm single it's like I have the plague. But as soon as I'm taken it's like I'm suddenly extremely desirable.
