Today, I went shopping with my parents. Halfway through, I got separated from them and tried to call them only to find out my cell phone battery was flat. A few minutes later, an announcement was made for a lost child. It was by my parents. I'm 36. FML

This is not an FML honey, we thought we lost you and feared the worst. You may be 36 but, you'll always be our baby! We love you!

I have two adult children but I'll still always be a child to my Mom. That's life, and it's a good one.

first of all what is a flat battery? You mean a dead battery? And second YDI for not keeping that battery charged, what's the point of a "mobile" phone if it's dead.

I wish we could thumbs up the mod comments. This 'Hurr wotz flat means?' is getting tedious. While we're at it, the debate about cell/mobile is odd. As an Australian, I'd call it a mobile, but would normally translate that to 'cell' if I was talking to an American. Hell, here in Germany, they call them 'Handys'.

ha I did that to my mom she's 43,and embarassed

I did that to a boyfriend. We went in for baby formula, not to shop for video games and movies.

Reminds me of my dad. Except I was going to the bathroom less than 20 feet away from him.
