Today, I went through my 15 year old daughter's internet history. On google she searched 'Excuses to get away from your dad' and 5 other variations of the same thing. We were supposed to be having a father daughter day tomorrow. FML

On the one hand, FYL because I feel bad for you that you're hurt by your daughter not wanting to spend time with you. On the other, YDI because a) your daughter is 15 -- you really think teenagers want to hang out with thei parents? and b) give your daughter some privacy...

Dude seriously? No wonder she wants to get away from you if you're snooping through her private stuff. The one thing that especially annoyed me about my dad was how invasive and controlling he was and you're doing exactly what he did. I had to make my twitter account private so that he wouldn't snoop through my social media. Get out of her business.

If you think it's alright to snoop her browser history, then I don't blame her for wanting to get away from you. She, and every person, needs space.
