No, it was real. It was at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, which is never at capacity. And the tickets were the southwest airline new cheap ones, I think maybe $50. I went to fan assistance to try to get my ticket, and they said that they didn't even know about it, and the sponsor (southwest) was only there to distribute the flight tickets, then left. I tried calling, and they kept thinking I was trying to get extras for family or something. But, it was not a fake, the tickets were legit.

Yeah you should have been able to prove it with your ticket stub. But I suppose it is too late... Well I guess there was a reason you weren't supposed to go!
1. You'd most likely get the tickets anyway as it was probably for your ROW, not only the people present, right? 2. If you weren't alone (which I am assuming you weren't), the other person would tell them that a person is missing/not there at the time.. FAKE.
Total FAKE! I've been to many different professional sports games and they NEVER give it to a row... it's usually one person that is prepicked before the game AND if there is a prize for a row you have to show the ticket stub at guest services and they honour the prize if you weren't in your seat! Nice try

Yeah, I still don't believe it, even after you posted 46. I've been to a lot of MLB games and never have they given a prize to a full row of people, no matter how many people actually come to the game. Even the cheap "didn't cost a dollar" prizes of free hot chocolate or pizza are only given to one specific seat, possibly multiple times during the game, but only one seat. And given this economy, I can't see Southwest giving away that many tickets. And even so, your ticket would be proof that A) you were at the game and B) you earned them by being in the row.
This doesn't make any sense. They still give you the prize if you're not in your seat. You just have to prove with your ticket that you were in the row that was selected. Nice try.

And why wouldn't they just honour your ticket stub? It's for the people with tickets (and who came to the game) for that row right? Not just the people who happened to be sitting there, no?
That's a totally twisted story!
