No, it was real. It was at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, which is never at capacity. And the tickets were the southwest airline new cheap ones, I think maybe $50. I went to fan assistance to try to get my ticket, and they said that they didn't even know about it, and the sponsor (southwest) was only there to distribute the flight tickets, then left. I tried calling, and they kept thinking I was trying to get extras for family or something. But, it was not a fake, the tickets were legit.

I agree with #5 - just show them your ticket. If you lost it - that sucks! But if you weren't meant to be sitting there - you don't deserve anything.
i was at this game yankees@baltimore i remember hearing them announce this because i thought it was my row then i realized it wasnt
don't a lot of planes going to NY crash anyway?
I was at that game i was a few rows away from you
#63, I was totally gonna say something about the plain crashing but you beat me. Balls!
first, lol @ all the flyover states of flyover states attacking New York! Secondly, i agree with everyone about the ticket stub. usually, they select a row and then after the game, you have to go down to the front office, present your ticket, and then you receive the plane tickets (or a rebate for the tickets or something along those lines). They don't usually hand them out as soon as they announce it. Finally, I hope it was a good pretzel ;)

And why wouldn't they just honour your ticket stub? It's for the people with tickets (and who came to the game) for that row right? Not just the people who happened to be sitting there, no?
That's a totally twisted story!
