Today, I went to an over-crowded grocery store. As I reached the front of a long line, I noticed that a cart had been abandoned in everybody's way. Trying to be helpful, I moved it to the side. An enormous woman then shoved me and yelled at me for "pushing her property around." FML

Today, I was grocery shopping when I left my cart to grab an item. I returned, and started pushing the cart again. Halfway through the store, a furious lady confronted me, demanding her cart back. I had to walk back in shame to find my own actual cart, which was now nowhere to be found. FML

Today, I was shopping at Walmart, when a large lady and her friend blocked the aisle I was trying to go down. After saying, "Excuse me," twice and being ignored, I pushed my way through. After getting past, I looked back and noticed she was glaring at me while signing to her friend. FML

Today, I was at the store when I saw that a cart in the checkout line next to me was starting to roll away and the owner hadn't noticed. I tried to help by reaching out to stop the cart from moving, but when the owner saw me with the cart, she began to hit me for trying to steal her purse. FML

Today, I was at the supermarket when an elderly lady asked if I'd grab some coffee for her from a high shelf. The moment I took my hands off my almost-full shopping cart, she made off with it. I ended up getting thrown out by security after she claimed I was trying to steal it from her. FML

I just want to say the pretty much everyone who had commented thus far has been kind of rude, i mean you don't know the woman's circumstances you don't know what was in her cart so why in hell does everyone here need to claim that we should fling salads at her. I feel like the people above me did that halloween note to heavier kids telling them that they don't need anymore candy. I understand that this woman was rude but that doesn't conclude that we can be rude, in that there are most likely heavier people on fml and you guys are probably making them feel like garbage about what they might be purchasing at the store. Stop thinking that shes lesser than you because it claims that she is heavy, we only know a certain degree of what happened so people need to calm their ****. In that you never know as i think that heaviness is something that is based upon your position, if a 100 lbs person sees a 250 lbs person they will seem heavy; yet if that same 250lbs person is seen by someone that weighs 400lbs they will seem small.

Really people are making fun only because she was a rude hypocrite, not because she's fat. You see plenty of overweight people at the store who are normal and don't judge them because of what's in their carts, or even think about how they look and what they're buying. When people behave a certain way, it begs for verbal caricatures, and those will obviously involve physical characteristics that fuel the fun.

I think I would have said something to her. I would've probably been as rude as she acted. I can't stand people who think they can do whatever they please. I always make sure I'm in no one's way at the store.

Why was the cart in everyone's way in the first place? It does not belong there, it's taking up the valuable space specifically reserved for people, carts don't buy things, it did not belong there. Stupid woman, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO STAND THERE NOT YOUR CART, CARTS DON'T EVEN GET PAID FOR THE SERVICES THEY PERFORM.
